1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between Streams Horizon OÜ (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Superyou”) and you (“you,” “User”) governing your access and use of the Superyou email enhancement extension (the “Service”). By using or accessing Superyou, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Service Description

Superyou is a Chrome extension that connects to your Gmail or Outlook account via SSO to provide AI-powered email productivity features. It reads email threads, interprets context and user input, and generates draft responses using large language models (“LLMs”).

Superyou never sends emails on your behalf. You remain fully in control of what gets sent.

3. Access and Use

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Log in using a supported SSO provider (e.g. Gmail or Outlook);
  • Use the Service only for lawful and permitted purposes.

You must not:

  • Misuse or tamper with the Service (e.g., reverse engineer, probe vulnerabilities, transmit malware);
  • Use the Service to generate harmful, discriminatory, or illegal content;
  • Share your access credentials or impersonate others;
  • Attempt to replicate, copy, or commercially exploit the Service or any part of it.

4. AI-Generated Content and User Responsibility

The Service uses AI models (provided by OpenAI and others) to generate content based on email threads and your instructions. While we aim for accuracy and usefulness:

  • Drafts may contain inaccuracies or bias due to the probabilistic nature of LLMs;
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use AI-generated suggestions;
  • We are not liable for decisions or communications made based on the AI outputs.

5. Privacy and Data Handling

5.1 What We Access and Use

To function, Superyou accesses:

  • Your email thread content and metadata (to draft replies);
  • Your Gmail address, OAuth token, thread/message IDs;
  • Basic session/IP metadata for backend operations and security.

5.2 What We Don’t Store

We do not store:

  • Audio/video content, calendar events, notes, Google Docs, or tasks;
  • Prompts or responses persistently (unless user opts into temporary logs for debugging).

5.3 AI Interaction

  • We send your email content and instructions to LLMs in real time only to generate responses;
  • Data is not used for model training;
  • We call LLM APIs with training disabled (e.g. `data_opt_out=true`).

6. User Data and Content

You retain ownership of your User Data (emails, instructions, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to process your User Data only as needed to provide the Service.

You may delete your account and associated data at any time via request. Data is permanently deleted within a reasonable period unless otherwise required by law.

7. Subscriptions and Payment

Superyou offers both free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions:

  • Are billed monthly or annually via Stripe;
  • Can be canceled at any time without penalty;
  • Are non-refundable unless required by law or otherwise stated at checkout.

8. Availability and Support

We aim to offer full uptime and will push updates without interrupting access. Planned downtime is minimal and unannounced unless critical.

Support is available via email at contact@superyou.ai. There is no phone or chat support at this time.

9. Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. Since Superyou uses SSO, your account can be reactivated anytime simply by logging back in.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:

  • You breach these Terms;
  • Your activity poses a risk to the security or operation of the Service;
  • Required by law or court order.

10. Intellectual Property

We own all rights, title, and interest in the Superyou codebase, interface, branding, and any improvements or derivatives, excluding your personal content. You may not copy, distribute, or commercialize any part of the Service without our permission.

11. Marketing Communication

By creating an account, you agree to receive essential and promotional emails from Superyou. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties;
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
  • Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the past 6 months (if any);
  • Nothing excludes liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against any claim, liability, or loss arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

14. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures, including:

  • OAuth2-based login via Google/Microsoft;
  • IP/session tracking for abuse monitoring;
  • Storage in encrypted Google Cloud infrastructure (servers located in Stockholm).

Future updates may include more robust security protocols, which will be reflected in updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction where Streams Horizon OÜ is established, unless otherwise required by law.

16. Modifications

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on the extension interface or website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
