This Privacy Policy explains how Superyou (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use our AI-enhanced email productivity tool.   • Gmail or Outlook email address (via SSO login)
  • OAuth access token (for authorization)

b. Email Data (processed, not stored long-term)

  • Email thread content and metadata (to generate drafts)
  • Message and thread IDs
  • Real-time user input or instructions

c. Session and Technical Data

  • IP address
  • Session metadata
  • Browser and device info

We do not collect or store:

  • Audio/video recordings
  • Calendar events
  • Notes, docs, or tasks

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Generate AI-powered draft email responses in real time
  • Improve your email productivity experience
  • Maintain the secure operation of the Service
  • Respond to support requests or troubleshooting issues

All processing is done under the legal basis of:

  • Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), such as fraud prevention and service maintenance

5. AI and Data Processing

We use fine-tuned OpenAI LLMs to generate draft responses. To do this:

  • Your email thread and instructions are sent to the LLM via secure API
  • We use real-time processing only — no persistent storage of prompts or replies
  • You can optionally enable logging to help us improve the UX (disabled by default)
  • We ensure that data sent to LLMs is excluded from model training

6. Data Storage and Retention

Temporarily Stored:

  • Email thread metadata and content (for live response generation)
  • OAuth tokens and session info

Retention Policy:

  • Most data is kept **temporarily** for real-time generation or operational use
  • Upon account deletion or user request, data is removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is legally required

7. Your Rights (under GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Withdraw consent
  • Request data portability
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Lodge a complaint with a Data Protection Authority

We use modern, industry-standard practices to protect your data, including:

  • OAuth2-based authentication
  • Encryption at rest and in transit
  • Infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud in Stockholm
  • Access controls and session monitoring

We do not sell your data.
We only share data:

  • With third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI) for real-time draft generation
  • With service providers needed to operate Superyou (e.g., hosting, logging)
  • When required by law or legal process

All subprocessors are GDPR-compliant and subject to contractual safeguards.

10. International Transfers

If data is transferred outside the EU, it will be done using appropriate safeguards such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
  • Data processing agreements
  • Data processing restricted to GDPR-compliant subprocessors

By creating a Superyou account, you agree to receive important service updates and occasional marketing messages. You can opt out of marketing at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails.
